Beauty is one of my favorite topics to blog about, so I thought I’d talk about my favorite luxury beauty products for today’s post. As a college student, I don’t have a whole lot of money to throw around on makeup. I can’t afford to splurge on high-end beauty products very often, so I have to make sure that the items I do invest in are worth it. In my spare time, I like to watch beauty gurus on YouTube. This is how I find most of my product recommendations. Over the years, I’ve tried a fair amount of luxury items, but these are my favorite high-end beauty products that are worth the money!
Becca Backlight Priming Filter ($38.00)
If you like a glowy finish to your makeup, this is the product for you! I love BECCA’s highlight collection, and this priming filter gives you a dewy finish while blurring pores. It makes your foundation go on so smoothly, and you get a lot of product for the size of the bottle. It’s lasted me for months!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation ($42.00)
This is such a great full-coverage foundation. I use it for my princess makeup– that’s how good it is! It’s very buildable, so you can put on as many or as few layers as you like. It’s long-wearing and has a matte finish. I love how lightweight it is, too. You would never know that you were wearing a full-coverage, 24-hour product!
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer ($30.00)
I always have trouble with bronzers, because they seem to either be too orange or too dark for me. This bronzer is the perfect shade for either contouring or dusting. It lasts a long time, plus it smells like chocolate! Could it get any better?!
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle ($34.00)
This was the first high-end highlight I ever tried, and it still remains my favorite. I’m not a fan of sparkly highlighters – I prefer ones that give off just a slight glow. This is the most beautiful peachy gold color that highlights without being overwhelming.
Urban Decay Naked Palette (discountinued)
Y’all know how I feel about my Naked palettes: total heart eyes. They’re my go-to for eye makeup, and I honestly never get tired of them! While I do love the Naked 3 version, I have to say that the original is the one worth splurging on. These bronze shades are much more versatile, and I think they are flattering on any skin tone. I am SO sad that it’s being discontinued. If you can find one on sale anywhere, be sure to snatch it up before they’re gone forever!
Too Faced Melted Lipsticks ($21.00)
These are my favorite liquid lipsticks of all time! The range of shades is incredible, and the colors are so unbelievably pigmented. For lipstick, they’re pretty long-lasting as well. Some of my favorite shades are Melted Strawberry, Chocolate Cherries, and Queen B. I heard that they have some scented versions out for the holidays– I can’t wait to try them out.
Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray ($32.00)
I honestly thought that setting sprays were a complete myth before I found this one. I always felt like I was just spraying water onto my face, and they didn’t improve the longevity of my makeup at all. However, Urban Decay’s spray makes a noticeable difference in the quality and wear of my makeup. When I forget to use it, my makeup starts to fade a lot faster. I love a lot of Urban Decay’s products, and this one is pretty high up on my list.
That concludes my list of high-end beauty products that are worth the money! I hope that this post can help you on your next makeup shopping spree. I’m always looking for new product recommendations, so be sure to share your favorite high-end beauty products that are worth the money with me in the comments below. Have a fabulous weekend!
