Be sure to read until the end to find out how to enter my holiday beauty giveaway!
Today is my very first holiday post of the season! Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I’m beyond excited to share my ideas, recipes, and DIYs with you here on Mostly Millennial. One of my favorite types of holiday blog posts is the famous gift guide. I’ll be the first to admit that it can be a struggle to find meaningful presents for all the people you care about– which is why I’m kicking off this Christmas season with my gift guide series.
I’ll be posting guides for all the kinds of people in your life: your BFFs, your mom, your boyfriend, your sister, and more. I’ll be keeping all the gifts under $50, since I know that we aren’t all made of money! Today’s guide is for the beauty junkie. Do you have someone in your life that’s always rocking the coolest makeup look? Or maybe she’s a master at doing hair. Either way, these gifts are perfect for a girly-girl.
1. The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Body Care Essentials Gift Set ($20.00)
I’m a huge fan of the Body Shop’s natural, cruelty-free product line. I was so excited to see that they’re continuing to offer their Almond Milk & Honey set this season. It’s my favorite relaxing scent by far! In this set, you’ll get a shower cream, body butter, and hand cream.
2. Beauty Blender ($20.00)
All hail the beauty blender! If you haven’t heard of this product before, you must be living under a rock, because this little thing has taken the beauty world by storm. It’s the absolute best way to apply foundation. I hate buying them, though, because of how expensive they are. (Seriously. Why is a SPONGE 20 bucks?!) I’m positive that any beauty gal in your life would be thrilled to receive one for the holidays!
3. Stila Triple Threat Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Set ($25.00)
My friend showed me these last time we were at Ulta, and I fell in love! Applying glitter eyeshadow can be tricky, but these liquid shadows make it SO easy. The gorgeous metallic shades are perfect for Christmas as well.
4. Naked Cherry Palette ($49.00)
This one is a little more pricey than the others on the list, but if you want to spend a little extra cash, you can’t go wrong with the Naked palette! The Cherry edition is the latest craze. The burgundy shades are great for the holiday season, and I’ve seen so many great reviews about the quality of the palette. It’s on my wishlist this year for sure!
5. Mario Badescu Rose Water Facial Spray ($7.00)
This may not seem like much, but this spray has been a beauty staple ever since it was sold at Anthropologie! It’s a facial mist infused with aloe, herbs, and rosewater. Not only does it hydrate your skin, but it also smells incredible. It’s a perfect stocking stuffer!
6. Essie Nail Polish ($9.00)
If you need another stocking stuffer idea, you can never go wrong with a holiday-themed nail polish! I’d recommend either Essie or OPI, since they are undoubtedly the best quality. I’m really loving the dark green “Off Tropic” Essie shade right now.
7. BH Cosmetics Rose Gold Brush Set ($24.00)
In this set, you’ll get 13 different makeup brushes and a brush holder! Surprisingly, the quality of these brushes are pretty good. I have quite a few BH brushes in my collection, and I find myself reaching for them often. They’ve held up for a really long time, too.
8. Too Faced Gingerbread Girl Melted Lipstick ($21.00)
You guys already know how much I love the melted lipsticks from Too Faced, so it’s no surprise that their holiday-edition item is listed here! I mean, who doesn’t want a lipstick that smells like Christmas?!
9. Philosophy Snow Angel Duo ($22.00)
Philosophy makes the cutest holiday sets. In this duo, you’ll get a Snow Angel shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath and body lotion. I also love their sugar cookie scent!
10. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer ($27.00)
If you know her skin tone well enough, you can’t go wrong with Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer. It’s easily my favorite concealer ever made– and it’s been rated as the #1 concealer in America. Everyone’s been talking about it! Just be sure to figure out her shade before you buy.
11. Rosey Posey Fizzy Salt Soak ($17.50)
Perfect for the gal who needs some pampering– this soak smells heavenly and leaves your skin feeling softer than ever. It’s basically combination of a bath bomb and salts.
12. Makeup Headband ($5.00)
This might seem like a lame idea at first, but I’ve been wanting one of these for such a long time! I finally caved and bought myself one a few weeks ago. It’s great for keeping the hair out of my face when I’m doing my makeup and washing my face. I love this idea for a stocking stuffer.
